Sandip is a warm and friendly psychologist, who has a wealth of experience working with couples, families and children in various capacities over the last two decades: first as a family therapist; later as a school psychologist; and more recently as a psychologist providing couple and family therapy at the Department of Veteran Affairs. 

He also has a passion for Couples Counselling, having trained in the Gottman Method, which helps couples to navigate their relationship difficulties, with the aim of finding greater harmony and pleasure in their relationships.

Sandip’s training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) has also equipped him to assist individuals, couples and families with a range of acute anxiety and trauma based problems, including panic, complex trauma and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). 

Besides his focus on working with Couples and using EMDR as needed, Sandip works with a wide range of mental health issues, and has trained in a range of therapeutic modalities including CBT, Emotion Focused Couple Therapy, Systemic Couple and Family Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. 

Sandip is interested in emerging research, and is passionate about supporting you to alleviate distress, enhance your relationships, and enrich your life satisfaction.
