Is Counselling Confidential?2018-07-05T06:28:40+00:00

Yes, absolutely, within the limits of the law. Exceptions are when a person may be an immediate risk to themselves or others. Talk with your psychologist about the limits of confidentiality if you have any concerns.

What types or modalities of Counselling and Therapy do you use?2018-07-05T06:29:49+00:00

Like many psychologists, we select from a range of therapeutic approaches, according to what mix seems best to serve the needs of each client.

This may include Emotion Focused, Narrative, Psychodynamic, Systemic, Schema Therapy, Solutions-Focused, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness techniques, and Motivational Interviewing.
