Fili is a warm and welcoming psychologist with 30 years of experience. She aims to provide a safe and non-judgemental space for you to explore what has brought you to therapy. She works with adults, couples, families and young people aged 15 plus years.
She has a special interest in working with trauma and has been highly trained in working with couples, as well as using mindfulness skills. She uses a strengths-based approach whereby your unique qualities and values are recognized and used collaboratively.
Fili enjoys working with people from all walks of life, tuning in to your specific and individual needs, so that you feel deeply heard and understood. She believes that it is from this foundation that we can challenge unhelpful thoughts and shift emotionally to move towards growth and change.
With a range of experience in different workplaces, including trauma services, community mental health, psychiatric out-patient units, psychological rehabilitation, and trans-cultural mental health, Fili has supported people through many challenging situations.

For individuals, Fili primarily uses a Psycho-dynamic framework along with Mindfulness, Trauma-informed psychotherapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In working with Couples, Fili utilises her skills gained in Gottman relationships training, as well as Ellyn Bader and Peter Peterson Couples training.
