Petra’s background as a Relationship Counsellor and Psychotherapist has equipped her with a deep understanding of the pressures and dilemmas that can be part of life for all of us. She works with individuals (adults and teenagers), as well as couples and families.
As a mother of two adult children and having been through significant health challenges in the past, Petra draws on both her experiential and professional backgrounds in working with her clients.
When lives are impacted by anxiety, depression or existential dilemmas, it is often relationships that are most affected.
Many of Petra’s clients are under stress in their attempts to stay connected in relationships. For instance, teenagers may be battling with problems of adolescence, while their parents are simultaneously battling with mid-life issues or differences in parenting styles.
Petra aims to create an atmosphere where each person in conflict can feel their perspective is valued and respected. She will help them move towards whatever may foster their sense of purpose, or promote their existential and personal growth.
Petra works with:
- Anxiety, Depression, Stress
